WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING?

You know what I usually feel stinks this time of year? Or just in general?
Love. L-O-V-E, love. Least likely fan, right over here.
Except…for this year. This year, I don’t mind the word that sends fear into the hearts of all single people round the world.
Why? I’m so glad you asked! Because this year, I have my own love story to celebrate. Or rather, two love stories to celebrate 😉
That’s right, we are once again here to promote my two Latter-day Saint Romances, Reframed and Reunited.
I am well aware that many are exhausted with the topic, which I totally understand. However, I would really appreciate it if these books could feed me and clothe me at some point. So, here we are, back to marketing 😬
Which I suck at. I am the worst at getting my work out there. Believe it or not, especially with all of the Reunited content that has been in your face, it makes me uncomfortable 😂
So, I have opted for a different approach this time around. A killing two birds with one stone method, if you will. I don’t have to talk about myself, but also don’t have to feel like I’m letting my characters down by not actively trying to share their stories.
I have compiled a list of some of my very favorite things people have said to me about my books and my writing. I have incredible support around me. I am truly so blessed to have friends and family who love me, and my characters, so well. They often say things better than I ever could, and have no idea how much their words have carried me when pursuing this feels extremely hard.
As such, their kindness to me deserves to be shared. In a paraphrased fashion, because I cannot remember all of them word for word 😂 And, if they happen to entice someone, prompting them to pick up either Reframed or Reunited, who am I to complain?

“Chet is my favorite character!”
“I could tell it was you writing. It is so clearly your voice!”
“The book comes with a playlist, allowing you to live in the world long after you have finished the book!”

“I liked what you portrayed through Ryan’s parents. Parents don’t always know what is best for you, they are not perfect, but their worry and concern often comes from a place of love.”
“Grandma Helen is my favorite character! She needs her own book.”
“Everyone knows a Rob.”

“Through your book, you truly lived out the end of the old Young Women theme, which declared that we would, ‘Stand as a witness of Christ at all times, and in all things, and in all places’.”
“Sweetest book I’ve read in a while!”
“I cried when Rob went to the hospital!”

“It is easy to tell which character is talking because of how well you portray their individual personalities.”
“Have you ever had a book make you want to be a better person?”
“Chet is a sweetheart, but Mari comes through for him when he needs her most.”

And finally, I have to express my gratitude for every time someone has sent me a Grumpy/Sunshine meme or video, pointing out that it is Chet and Mari. I love it, every single time. it is my favorite.
Seriously, thank you to all who have cheered me on as I climb this mountain. I really could not do it without you. And for those of you who might be new, either book can be picked up on Amazon, today!
